on the racks: people's most beautiful people

It's time for People's annual "Most Beautiful People" issue!

This year's winner isss....

Jennifer Lopez! [I can't even be mad about this. She is freaking beautiful.. And maybe looking better than ever in these pictures.]

As much as she may have complained about American Idol not being her ultimate comeback move, she better look again. She's back and beautiful because of that show.

Still, in the article she talks about being a mom and how that look makes her feel the best.
"That's when I'm my happiest. Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It's so much better."

WORD, girl. I agree on that part.

She also had something to say about her "diva" reputation:
"I kind of like it. We've kind of owned it now. But I certainly don't like and I've never been a person who has what they call 'diva behavior,' which is something they tried to pin on me for a long time."

Yeah... I don't know if I believe you, but we'll go with it!

Check out some of the other beautiful People:

"You’re a human being, you live once and life is wonderful, so eat the damn red velvet cupcake."
-Emma Stone

"I identify as a comedy writer, so to get compliments on appearance, that's the nicest compliment – to be shallow!"
-Mindy Kaling

"One of the greatest luxuries I am afforded is a solid eight hours every once in a while!"
-Jennifer Hudson

"There's no way to hide them as much as you want to bandage your boobs down. Now I can make my way in and out of parking tickets: Show the girls and give a wink!"
-Jessica Simpson

"I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!"
-Jennifer Lopez

"I think it's important to remember to live in the moment and enjoy every day to the fullest."
-Zac Efron

"We're trying to nationalize Sexy. Sort of like Medicare."
-Ryan Reynolds

"My mother always said, 'Be original!' but I didn't understand until I changed to be like everyone else."
-Sandra Bullock

I can't help but notice that a lot of these people were pictured in magazines for being beautiful in the 90s... YAY! I also can't disagree with any of these choice. People- you did good. Real good.

watch: high school musical- the thriller

I must admit, I'm a fan of the High School Musical movies. I'm not afraid to tell it to the world. I've always loved a good Disney Channel Original.

This mock trailer is freakin' great, though. It may be making fun of the movies big time, but it's so fabulous.

It's High School Musical: The thriller. AKA What if the teens had to live through some scary things?

I hope you watched even if you don't like the movie because it's probably even more amusing to those who don't like it.

So amusing. I need one of these for Clueless or something.

this week on tv

I didn't get to do a whole lot of updating once Wednesday hit, and I am VERY sorry about it! Unfortunately for this blog, I was uber busy starting Wednesday morning, and didn't get to write about everything I wanted to.

But, People is helping me out a little with their list of TV's 5 Most Buzzed-About Moments for this week, and I will share them with you!

1. The judges save Matt Giraud.

Yes, if you were wondering, I am VERY upset they saved him. I think it was a stupid move on the judges part, but there's nothing anyone can do about it now. Hopefully no one important goes home this week.

2. Jamie Foxx apologizes to Miley Cyrus

He's so right! He was just being funny! I love his reaction in the beginning when it's first brought up though. And it's obvious that he feels pretty bad 'cuz he's not letting it go.

3. Tori Spelling vs. Chelsea Handler on the A-List Awards.

Chelsea has every right to say she looks like a man all the time! I mean.. Uhh... This is good, though! It's good of Tori to get a few good laughs about it all.

4. One name: Susan Boyle

She definitely got them, and everyone. This is so amazing to watch. I get goosebumps every time the whole way through. No wonder she's taking the world by storm.

5. Kathie Lee gets Zac Efron

This is stupid, actually. I don't know why people are making any type of big deal about it, but whatever. So she kinda scared him for playing her son on SNL. WHO CARES?!

So, you're caught up, kinda. Ashton and Diddy also talked to Larry King about Twitter, which was definitely talked about quite a bit... In Twitterland, at least.

It's so funny hearing everyone talk about it so much, but I like it! [Follow me--> @luvelizabethany !!]

on the racks: zac efron is so GQ

Who's the new coverboy of GQ Magazine?! Zac Efron. Mr. High School Musical himself. And I must say, he looks pretty dark good... And a little Danny Zuko or Johnny Bravo.

Something interesting about the article- Yes, he drinks. [He's 21.. Don't worry!] But he's not an idiot, so he won't be all over the tabloids partying.

"I wasn't programmed by Disney. It's common sense. If you're gonna be drunk with your friends, don't get wasted at the Chateau Marmont and hook up with some famous chick. It's not rocket science."

He's got a good head on his shoulders, thank goodness. We don't need any more train wrecks.

Somethin' else he's done recently- A Funny or Die video in which he has a pool party featuring TONS of celebs. Hilarious.

You know they probably really do have family members like that!

Zac, you da man! Let's keep it that way! Listen to what Leo DiCaprio said: "Don't do heroin!"
