on the racks: allure goes naked

Each year, Allure does a Naked issue featuring celebs who strip down and talk about their body image and being comfortable with no clothes on.

This year featured Keri Hilson, Kaley Cuoco, Bridget Moynahan, and Ashley Tisdale.

"Everyone has their idea of what you should look like. 'You need to get into the gym.' 'You need to wear less clothes.' 'Wear dresses and skirts.' 'Put a weave in.' 'Cut your hair.' 'Color your hair.' There are so many ways that others tug at you. We do a lot of things to seek validation: I have to get more expensive handbags or fake lashes or fake boobs. This shoot was about dropping all that."

"I have not told my family about this, and I'll tell you why: Until they see the photos, they won't understand. All a mother or father hears is the word 'naked.' When I told my mom about the shoot, I left out the part about taking my clothes off. I was way more excited than I ever thought I would be. Which made me realize, I'm more comfortable in my own skin than I thought."

"I never roam around in bikinis, and I am only naked in the privacy of my own home. In this electronic age, it's not safe to be naked anywhere else, even in locker rooms. I've been in the business a long time, so it didn't really faze me. I was completely comfortable."

"I'm 25, almost 26, but people think of me as much younger because I look young. Being in this shoot was me saying, 'I'm not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I'm actually a woman.'"

Everyone's talking about Ashley for some reason, but I think Keri got her answer the best.. Just sayin'. That woman is far to underrated with everything she does.

deezam! on the racks: jennifer aniston does allure

Tweet Holy hott, perfect mama! Jennifer Aniston is taking the cover of the February edition of Allure!

If that picture isn't gorgeous enough for you, I'm sure the next one will be.

Sure, the bangs aren't really her style, but let's be honest- who's looking at her bangs?! No one.

She seriously defines perfection for me. Between her, Carrie Underwood, and Halle Berry.. I don't know why a guy would look at any other woman in the world.

In the article, she admits that her flat stomach isn't the hardest thing for her to keep in shape, that it's actually her "derriere."

And as for what she's watching on TV:

"You know what I find fascinating? The Bachelor. I was mesmerized by how these girls, they meet this guy, they have three dates together or something, and they're weeping as though they've just lost the love of their life. I don't understand that."

TRUTH, girlfriend, TRUTH! I love that show, and I normally fall hard and quick- but they're a little coocoo.

Ah, I love her. Absolutely love.

on the racks: kim kardashian does allure

I used to hate Kim Kardashian, but somehow she's gaining on me. I'm still a bit leery, though... She's calmed down her OMG-I-need-attention phase, but she's next month's cover girl for Allure.

She talks mostly about how much she loves make-up and hair removal and that she loves it everywhere, but this quote about her work ethic caught my eye:

“I feel lazy when I’m not working. I learned all my business sense from my dad. He always believed in me, and I think the last thing he said to me before he passed away was, ‘I know you’re gonna be OK. I’m not worried about you.’”

I always thought she was kinda lazy... Lazier than the other two sisters, right? Unless she counts a zillion photo shoots and dates with uber-hott athletes work...

I'm hating again.

She shot an episode of Entourage yesterday, so let's hope that it's a good episode, she's a decent actress, and she can prove that she's a hard worker.

On another note, I enjoy that she's not wearing ten pounds of makeup in her Allure shoot, but the outfit has got to go. Not a good look on her body.

I don't think this is something I'd ever be able to do, but props to these ladies!
