Looks like a dead week in the music world, but I'll share with you the new stuff anyway! I'm running low on time, though, so forgive me for not telling my opinions!
Afrojack--> Take Over Control
Chris Brown ft. Justin Bieber--> Next 2 U
Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera--> Moves Like Jagger
Theory of a Deadman--> Lowlife
Wiz Khalifa--> No Sleep
That's honestly all I have this week! Let me know what ya think!
YAY! Molds13 over at Vevmo has used her super powers to find us the first roommates living and filming in San Diego!
Allow me to introduce you to the fellas of the house:
Frank Sweeney, 22 Attended Christian Brothers Academy in New York, then Middlebury College in Vermont. Molecular Biology and Spanish major Has a Flickr account that's fun
Nate Stodghill, 22 From: Grain Valley, MO 6'0'', 220 lb football player Graduate from Missouri University of Science and Technology Major: Nuclear Engineering Sigma Phi Epsilon frat boy Self proclaimed mama's boy, and she confirms with Facebook statuses like this:
Zach Nichols, 23 [til August] From Brighton, MI Northern Michigan University football player Dreams of playing in the NFL, like his dad did
Someone who apparently partied with them said that Frank is going to be the biggest party animal. There are rumors that Nate could be gay and his mom doesn't know, and Zach could be the typical nothing-but-NFL-on-the-brain guy.
I was pretty off with ALL of my first impressions last season, so I'm not going to go in depth, but I'd say I'm going to like Frank a lot, he's totally cute and fun-seeming, Nate is iffy to me, and if Zach can act/look more like his bald picture [with added hair], I could be down with him, too.
What do you think? Boys you wanna look at or not for this season?
Obviously motorcycle crashes should never be funny, but this one has me in tears because of laughing. Woops.
What happens when two racers crash, their bikes find each other, and decide to put on a show of their own? Just watch:
What the bikes are doing is not the funny part at all! The funny part: The multiple FAILED attempts at trying to get the bikes, then the temper tantrum that followed.
Hey dude, you fell off. Sit back and enjoy the show as much as you can.
I mentioned getting Truth or Dare started up again, and have accepted a couple challenges!
The first dare to be completed this summer:
I got that on Friday morning, but I was already halfway done with my show! So I decided to postpone and do today's whole show in what I hoped would be a British accent.
Never did I break character and give up, but I don't know that I was "British." Either way, hilarious and awfully awkward. Here are the breaks:
Yeah... about that.....
I have at least two more dares I plan on doing within the next few weeks, but if you have any you want to give me, let me know any way you want!
What is with Real Housewives thinking they can and should have a music career? I get that Michaele is so upset that her 5 minutes are up after crashing the White House and having the DC Housewives FAIL, but this is not okay.
Seriously... Friends don't let friends put on performances like that. That's BEYOND rough. If it's not a joke, I'm even more concerned for her mental well-being.
And WHY did that rapper come straight to the stage without changing out of his UPS working clothes first?!
Because I missed it last week, there is SO MUCH new Country music. Because I don't do Country radio, AND it's way too much for me to comment on, I'm just going to list it all out and have you listen for yourself. BUT! I will put a * next to the ones I love.
There's something about an eye-catching beach towel that makes me giddy these days. Old school, super-fan-worthy, or just clever- I dig 'em.
Gillette is getting funny and clever! In order to remind people to not scare everyone away by not shaving, they've created these silly little things.
Sure, the holes are a little inconvenient, ESPECIALLY if you'll be sitting in the grass, but it's not like you need a full towel! And just THINK of the conversation starting possibilities!
I'm not even going to lie... Yesterday was so crazy I completely blanked on the fact that it was Tuesday. Sorrryyy...
New music, anndddd GO!
David Guetta ft. Ludacris and Taio Cruz--> Little Bad Girl
Let's DANCE! David Guetta definitely knows how to get people moving, and this is another good one for that.
Ian Carey ft. Snoop Dogg and Bobby Anthony--> Last Night
Oh, hello lyrics that I needed last Friday morning. Who likes to party? Listen to this.
The Script--> Nothing
I like this because it's not the same song they've put out 3 times in a row. Still pretty, still good lyrics, but more refreshing. I also fully enjoy that they say mates.
Eminem ft. Bruno Mars--> Lighters
Probably my favorite Eminem song in a while, at least at first listen. I don't know if it's because of Bruno or what, but I like the change in pace and the collabo.
All Time Low--> Feel Like Dancin
They're fun. The video is funny. The song is fun. I dig it. The end.
Far East Movement--> So What?
All of their songs are pretty different. That's fun. I can't decide if I love or hate this one. I need you to be the judge.
Adele--> Someone Like You
Welcome Adele, ladies and gentlemen... Bringing a refreshing talent to radios. It's beautiful.
Bruno Mars--> Marry You
This is cute. I'm glad he's fairly different song to song, too. It's always simple, but it works!
Flo Rida--> Turn Around
Typical Flo Rida song. It's a dance track, it's enjoyable, but I don't notice anything being sampled for once. [At least, nothing I know...]
Natasha Bedingfield--> Weightless
I do enjoy a good Natasha Bedingfield song, but this doesn't scream top-of-the-charts to me. Let me know if you disagree!
It's time to officially say goodbye to the Real World: Las Vegas, and what better way to do it than get another roommate on the phone to clear things up for us.
I've been trying to get Leroy, our favorite guy and Most Real roommate, on the show for a while, and we finally made it happen today, while he took a break from being a trash man. [Yes! He's still working as usual, just taking some breaks to party!]
Roylee is so smart and wise, knows what he's doing and what he's done, and answered all of my questions to the point. And just like he did on the show, he kept it really real.
"I'm the same lee as before I did the show... I'm not a celebrity. And even if you are, that doesn't make you better. A lot of people whow atch the show... you inspire them, so for me to be a dickhead to them when they come up to me.. that would be rude."
He also said what we've been saying all season- It was a good one. It showed real people in real situations, just as the show used to.
"The show is about the storyline... How Nany evolved from where she was with Adam, to the end. That's the stuff people need to see... the stuff I went through with the STD thing... they his the real, big topics."
Most importantly, he answered a lot of questions we've had:
What's up with Dustin and Heather now?
Nany and Adam?
His biggest regret
Who he wouldn't want as a roommate
How far Nany and Heather went
And more, duh. Just listen to him be awesome:
Again thanks to Leroy, and I shall end it with my favorite philisophical quote he said:
"Learn. Change. Grow." As you get older and as you evolve, you need to learn, change, and grow.
In high school, when Michael Jackson was going to trial for all the child molestation stuff, my friend Ashley brought a boombox to school and played MJ throughout the halls all day long [and totally got in trouble for it].
After lunch one day, we set that sucker up on the stairs outside the cafeteria, and put on this elaborate performance to "Beat It," full of synchronized improv dancing, flips, and singing. A crowd gathered, and had such a thing been cool on YouTube back then, we woulda been famous.
For my Birthday, we had a small crowd, but we still wanted to put on a funny show for the fraynds. Here's a clip of us Dirty Pop'n!
I know I'm a crazy ADD bia, you don't gotta tell me twice! This is my definition of fun! And yes, it continued afterward.
The next cast of the Real World has moved in, and it's lookin' like we may have it pretty easy when it comes to "stalking" them around the nation.
When it comes to how the city is reacting to the roommates moving in, it reminds me a lot of DC. Most of the city is acting pissed, and a decent amount of people are planning on going after them for some pics, smooches, and hot tub time. [I've trained them well... or so I'll tell myself.]
That being said, after only about a week, we have some pictures to check out! As most "spy pictures" are, they're mysterious. They don't tell us a whole lot yet, but they're still fun to look at.
I'd say if anything, they look typical. All a little different, the girl has the beach-esque bag, and the guy in the patterned shirt is reminiscent of old school roommates. As far as I can tell, that shirt's gotta go.
I'll be keeping you updated throughout the filming as usual, but if you have any pictures or info on them, or want to join the Real World-super-freak crowd, holler at Vevmo and me.
I've seen and shown you a video from Miss Jenna Marbles before, but I didn't realize our connection. I didn't realize that she's pretty much me in a much hotter body and sporting a cuter face.
Her latest video shows exactly what girls do when they surf the internet. I'm sure most girls really do all of these things, but this is the definition of elizabethany without her meds.
I mean, seriously... It's scary to watch myself. It's scary to see someone throw that in my face like that, and it not even be me!
Her channel, for the most part, is pretty funny. A bunch of random, ADD nonsense.
Here's a day in the life of us her.
I like her. I like her quirkiness and obviously her lack of adderall. I also like her body.
Dang, girl. NO WONDER you're so famous! [I totally like the YouTube look over the modeling look, though.]
